Good morning,A Clearfield County man is facing multiple charges following a police chase tied to a hit-and-run. State police say 34-year-old Donald Chesnet Junior, of Penfield, is accused of fleeing officers after a crash in Huston Township. Troopers say he was also driving under suspension and had an active warrant, with additional charges including DUI and multiple traffic violations.In Clearfield County, state leaders say they’re continuing to monitor ongoing power outages in Sandy Township. Representative Mike Armanini says Penelec is reviewing the issue, with a major reconductoring project planned to improve reliability. That work is currently scheduled for 2030 but could move up if outages continue.And in Jefferson County, authorities are reminding drivers to stay alert as spring conditions bring changing road hazards across the region.
