Good morning.State tax officials are fighting to join a massive federal lawsuit against U-S Senator Jim Justice. The West Virginia Tax Division wants to intervene because the state holds over four million dollars in active tax liens against Justice family properties. Officials say the family owes millions in unpaid consumer sales and income taxes.Local health departments are issuing an urgent warning about a severe spike in tick bites this summer. The C-D-C says emergency room visits for tick-borne illnesses are at their highest levels since 2017. Officials urge families to check themselves and their pets for ticks after spending time outdoors.And the Wood County School Board has approved a big upgrade for the Parkersburg South ball field.
