Good morning.Titusville shoppers won't have to worry about feeding parking meters anytime soon. City Council has officially squashed a proposal to bring back paid parking after an internal traffic study revealed downtown lots aren't busy enough to justify the infrastructure costs. Officials say keeping parking free is the best way to protect small businesses and local consumers.In local environmental updates, Titusville officials announced that emergency repairs on a leaking jet fuel tank at the city airport are fully complete. The city expects to be released from a state environmental protection consent order this week.And music returns to downtown Meadville this Thursday night.
