Authorities took fifty-year-old George Breese into custody following an emergency intervention. Breese faces multiple felony charges tied to the attempted assault targeted at a relative in Sheakleyville. He is being held ahead of a preliminary hearing scheduled for July second.In community news, the Cambridge Springs Public Library held a rededication ceremony to mark fifty years since its building was constructed. Local officials and patrons gathered to celebrate the facility, which originally opened its doors on July Fourth, nineteen-seventy-six.And the Crawford Central School Board is searching for a new member following the sudden resignation of Ed DeVore.
